Choosing Jean Color and Style
Jeans are available in many unique designs to fit every personality and preference. The colors and fabrics are washed in certain ways at the factory to give them a distinctive look and feel. Here are some of the jean styles and colors available today:
Polished – denim without blasts or tints.
Crosshatch – the weave has a cross-stitch type pattern.
Ring-spun – brings out a vertical pattern in the denim.
Tinted – blasts of color such as rose, green or khaki.
Vintage – an old, worn-in look.
Whiskered - blasts that make "cat Whiskers" fading appear around the front fly area.
Frayed – has tattered edges along the leg bottoms, pockets, waistline, etc.
Distressed – have released hems and look beat up.
Destroyed – jeans have a combination of holes, fraying, fading, bleaching and wear & tear.
